... a lead in fare of just £29 one way, including all taxes and a free 20kg baggage allowance. Ski-carriage is just £14.99 one way. |
Anyone used this airline? What did you pay?

Ernst Goldsmith, Part of Titan ... was Satellite Travel if you know them.
'Snowjet' doesnt have a 'Fleet' as such .. as its really the Titan Charter operation. ATOL - Bonded etc.
'Growth' therfore is an irrelevance as to the reasons given .. as it will be a function of seat availability/ routes. I dont know that but given they have expanded their route network this year it follows.

At "just £14.00 one way" ski carriage is no cheaper than other airlines, is it? It's certainly no cheaper than what we're paying to fly with CrystalSki on the cattle class special.

Snowjet do free ski carriage offers occasionally, if you book in advance. We got 20kg baggage, free ski carriage and are also saving on transfer costs flying to Chambery (or not if snow keeps causing trouble )

I used them in Jan 2009 from Stansted to Chambery and paid £110 return including ski carriage. Couldn't fault them.

Will be flying with them £199.96 return to Sion, including ski carriage. Booked 3 months in advance of flight. So not all that cheap - but very convenient. I have flown Titan before on a very elderly 737 - some years back. They were fine.

Why do they bother with advertising 'One way Ski carriage' ?

lenniem, so that you are under no illusion that it is for a return trip. One-way is quite reasonable - for example if one is going to leave skis at resort on return (eg if you own your own apartment) - or returning to the UK with skis you have bought at resort.
