Picture of Lake Geneva from this morning. Snow right down to the lake and blue skies!
You can see the Grammont at 2200m centre right of picture, the Dents du Midi (ridge of 5 peaks) on the left - this faces the Swiss side of the PdS. Bottom left sticking out into the lake is the Chateau de Chillon - most visited tourist attraction in Switzerland!

bobinch, Thanks for that. The cloud is obscuring the village, though it does seem to have a micro climate that involves lots of cloud. However I have now installed it as my desktop background  . I drove thru Le Bouveret last week and there was a brightly lit structure like a rocket or drilling rig. Any idea what it was ?
