Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I'm thinking of driving up to Scotland on Friday evening after work to go on the slopes Saturday/Sunday and then drive back Sunday evening..

I am thinking of heading for the Aviemore area but also giving thought to Fort William (for Nevis Range / Glencoe), there seem to be hostels available in both areas.

Anyone interested in sharing the fuel? I have an octavia diesel and have snow tyres fitted, I reckon fuel would be about £100 between however many people there are.

rickb98765, Welcome to snowheads - I saw your post this morning and have been umm-ing and ahhing all day. Having seen this thread

conditions look like they'll be epic when the resorts do open, however they say that it might be Sunday before Cairngorm re-opens as it will take a while to dig out the access road, then the weather's not forecast to be great. Think I'll give it a miss on this occasion!

Sounds like the winds on Saturday will rule out this weekend unfortunately, I'll be looking to go in a couple of weeks time instead if you're interested in going then...
