Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi,
I'm based in Meribel Mottaret doing a season, and I'm thinking of getting some properly fitted boots as I'm suspicious that my old pair of Salomon's might not be quite the right size for me. They seem a little too flappy at the top! At least a good boot fitter might be able to advise me as to whether they're right or not.
So would love to know if anyone has any recommendations for a decent boot fitter in the Three Valleys?
Dave

treefrog911, What skimottaret said (although I'm not sure buck is there?). They've got a new bootfitter this season, and it seemed like she was the only one. Good tho' ... Mrs Patch got new boots fitted there a couple of weeks ago and is v happy!

treefrog911, Armand (head ski tech) or Gerard (owner) at Zenith in Val Thorens. Both over 20 years experience and know what they are doing. Plenty of the ESF instructors use them.

Yup as Patch, wrote I was very happy with the boot fitting service at Freeride, I know many people who have had boots fitted there and were happy with the service. So far so good with my new boots and they know I'm around most of the season and were keen to tell me to go back with any issues/questions. You will need an appt and my fitting took over an hour but was time well spent.
