Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hey all!
Just come down off the slopes here in Andorra, and WOW what a day!
We had three days of snow that tailed off yesterday morning, and it was my first chance to get up and spent the afternoon playing in the powder! Absolutely gorgeous blue skies, freezing cold temperatures, well groomed pistes, and loads of powder to be had just nipping off the edges of the runs into the trees.
Grandvalira are reporting a base of around 90cm, which is great for early January, and I just love it here when the conditions are like this!
First I went up in to El Tarter, which was really quiet, and headed over to Soldeu where there were quite a few school groups. Grau Roig had the best snow, and stayed there a while. When I headed for Pas the slopes quietened off again, and it was a superb run down in to the town - perfect snow and hardly anyone around!
The forecast for the week is clear skies, and more snow forecast for the weekend!
Steve
