Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I was on the same trip as ChrisL, and we all had a great time.

The apartments are pretty decent, although the mattresses aren't the most forgiving after a hard days skiing! There is no oven in the kitchen, but there is a full hob, microwave/grill and a dishwasher. The sauna and steam room don't open til 4 (although you sometimes have to give reception a timely reminder to turn them on) and fill up pretty quick. Although the apartment block isn't in Les Menuires proper, there are a few restaurants and bars around, as well as a shop and bakery - and an outdoor pool open in the evenings if you're feeling brave. We only found one bar with a happy hour - 3eu per pint. It is underground, near the lift pass office, although I can't remember what it is called.

You can ski straight out of the boot room pretty much, down to the Bruyeres lift, which will take you to the top between Les Menuires and Meribel-Mottaret. Its also pretty easy to get up to Val Thorens and over to Courcheval from here too. The run back direct to LM from VT is horribly flat, I would advise going back up the mountain and then down instead.

Transfer time is around 3 hours from Grenoble airport, so take a book.
