Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Soll in the Summer

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I am off with my family to Soll in June this year as we have been a few times in the winter and would like to see how different it is without snow. Does anybody have any reccomendations for things that we can do while we are there? There will be 2 children under 4 and my mom and dad who are both in theri 70's.

Thanks

Wardster00, I had a fantastic holiday in Scheffau a couple of summers ago - I was rock-climbing in the Wilder Kaiser mountains which on the opposite side of the valley to the ski areas. There's also lots of walking on both sides of the valley and there's a brilliant, exciting, gorge thing where you wear a wet suit and get transported by the water down through the falls, pools and rapids of this amazing limestone gorge - it's guided.

Not sure either of those activities entirely suitable for your party though, but it's a very beautiful and lovely place to be in the summer.

They have some mad cow festival too - that was fun Very Happy

I went with this company - I liked them. http://www.minster-alpine.co.uk/

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Another possibility is the Hexenwasser = Witches' Water area at Hochsöll (at the middle station of the gondolas). This is an activity area with water as its theme, splashing about in it. I'm not sure whether it would be suitable for kids under four but perhaps your parents would like paddling! I haven't found any site with English text but here is one link in German http://hexenwasser.bergbahnsoell.at/ .

Red 27 - The gorge thing sounds brilinat as an escape from the kids. Dis you book it through the tour company or can you book through the local tourist board?

espri - the hexenwasser park looks great. Our eldest will almost be 4 when he goes so I'm sure that he will love it.

Thanks for the suggestions.
