Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Just picked up a pair of second hand Fischer Red Heat ski's and I need to check the binding adjustments. Can anybody tell me how to check/adjust the binding for my boot length. Thanks!

You know what most people are going to say don't you, if you don't know how, take them to some one who does.

Having said that, I have done my own Fischer FS12 Railflex 2 bindings and it very easy. Be aware that you also have to set Forward Pressure as well as the DIN setting.

The information is out there but I can't point you where. You could Google it maybe.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

ac505, The should be a plate in the middle of the binding with a cross head screw at the back. if you pull it upwards from the front you'll see a further plate with millimetres printed in increments of 10. Pull the front binding forward or back depending on whether you want to lengthen or shorten the binding and then snap the cover back. Don't worry if the final measurement doesn't correspond exactly with the length of your boot. I set mine to the measurement embossed on my boot and found they didn't fit.
