Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snow dancing - does anyone know the steps?

I've got three weeks to go until I'm asleep in resort and the white stuff seems thin on the ground in Les Arcs, and by all accounts its not brilliant in other places. I think the snowy equivalent of a rain dance is reqd. Does anyone know the steps?

Megamum, my take on snow conditions there isn't so pessimistic. Higher slopes are generally in good conditions, only the lower slopes are not so good. The long range forecast (10 days out) is fairly cold, probably with some snow. Nothing to worry about... Wink

Three weeks! Anything can happen in 3 weeks! It's colder today and will snow next week. It will be fine Cool .

Snow dance? Anything goes and alcohol helps. Oh, and don't take any notice of blokes who say you have to be naked. It's not true. They just like it that way! Laughing

I think firstly you must dress up in full snow gear then go in the garden , making sure someone is filming you ( for posterity only!) . Then put your left boot in , left boot out . If you still up standing then shake it all about!!!!!
Have fun and don't worry, I'm sure it will dump down soon and you will have plenty fresh powder snow to cut fresh tracks in when you get there snowHead
