Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

TNF Stavros jacket?

 Poster: A snowHead

Hey everyone, I currently have a TNF decagon jacket, it's practically new but it feels a touch baggy on me, i couldn't get away with anything smaller than the size i have because of my height and it seems this particular model is quite a generous fit anyway. I've been looking at other jackets which seem to have a closer fit, the TNF stavros looks quite nice although i'm yet to try one on! Is it worth buying something like the stavros or should i be looking at the more expensive freethinker II or Sedition III jackets?

The other TNF jackets, IMHO, are too "cliche skier" style and feel, ditto the eider jackets I tried on; technically sound but too many frou frou slashes and dashes. If you're looking in that direction, then consider the Salamon Adrenaline. Just got one myself and it seems to tick all the boxes; bomb-proof quality, all the pockets you need, removable down jacket (which will stay removed), and modern sober styling which means you won't look like a complete berk wearing it in the rain to the pub, coupled with TNF rockerfella pants which are very nice indeed, taffeta lining and stretchy (and bright green, so outfit not completely sober), can't wait to give them a run out.

I sound like a right tart.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The large Stavros is a slimmer fit than the large Decagon. I tried both.
