Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi snowheads,

sorted out my snowboarding to LDA back in august, but didn't sort my friends out Sad

is there any fine (or not so fine) snowheads in LDA over the week of 16th -> 23rd of Jan 2010, Who doesn't mind hooking up on the slopes or bar?

midwinter, that is the week of the learn to ski off piste and bumps, so there are a several snowheads around - not all on the course. Get my number from my website or the tourist office and I can arrange a meet. Very Happy

Theres a group of nearly 30 of us from Pendle going that week staying in the Aalborg. Feel free to come and have a beer wi us lot. We're even lettin a couple of boaerders come along for good measure wink

I have been watching the forum for while but never posted before.

This is the second time to LDA, first time was with a group of 12 that at least 2 Alpha males. - It made it un-enjoyable Sad but this time I booked up early in the year and has cost me £350. (flights, transfer & studio Apartment). Smile

I would be happy to meet people for beer Smile but be aware, I am a Boarder Smile

midwinter, I am on the easiski course that week, so am one of the Snowheads that will be in LDA for that week.

Not got time to write more now as am off out, but will post later... I'm sure we can fit you in for an apres ski drink or two. Probably fit in some slope time with you as well if you wanted, so long as my street cred can handle being seen with a boarder wink wink

Edit: Just noticed the post above re: group of 30 also there that week! looks like you might be spoilt for choice!

woody911, just back from the Aalborg, have you been before? We were pleased with the hotel, very well placed, very good staff, decent food, good boot room and access outside. No complaints at all snowHead
