Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Snow?

Years ago a friend once said to me you always get a good snow year every 3 or 4 years? So I've been casting my mind back for the last few years that I've spent seasons and done holidays in the alps. What do you think about the below, coincidence or not that the crap snow years are every 3 years? Or can you add to the list?

2003/2004: Season in Les 2 Alpes. Not the best snow that year, not a lot of really good powder days also can remember it raining in jan.
2004/2005: Season in Les 2 Alpes. Pretty good snow year, a lot better than the year before, not amazing but not rubbish.
2005/2006: Season in Risoul. Amazing season for snow, loads of powder. Can remember locals saying best snow for 20 odd years.
2006/2007: Season in Val Disere. Crap, rained on a number of occasions. I remember seeing pics of St. Anton and there wasnt any snow at all.
2008: Holiday in Mayrhofen (Jan) Good piste cover, bit of fresh snow before we went. Morzine (Mar) Brilliant had a good few powder days.
2009: Holiday in La Plagne (Jan) Loads of snow earlier doors left pistes in good conditions.
2010: Going on holiday to Serre Che in Jan, not the best start, been raining a bit in resort. Is it going to follow the past 3 & 6 years and be a bit
s**t!!! Only time will tell?

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person
Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person
I have a theory about the amount of hurricanes that make landfall and snowfall in the alps and since it was a slightly below average hurricane year I suspect it wont be the best season ever, but won't be too bad either.
Random theory for 1am in the monring
