Poster: A snowHead
|
We went to this awesome hut last year in Porte du soleil but I'm not sure where it was.
All I know was it was kinda on the way to the Swiss Wall. It's a stone hut with no power other than a generator. Does a wicked fondue and they cure their own meat in the summer!
There's a really boring long blue run out of it or you can all hold on to ropes on the back of his skidoo and he pulls you back up to the brow of the hill.
Any ideas?

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It's called Le Lapisa and it's in the Ripaille area of Champery. When you get off the T-bar below the Wall, head skiers right. Great little hidden gem

fijit, Is that straight ahead as I thought turning to the right from TK Rripaille takes you down a gentle blue, had not noticed any restaurants mind you. Will have to look out for this hidden gem but may go for meat as alas I dont like cheese!

Lapisa is awesome....Just make sure if you run out of time to make it all the way down and back up Grand Paradis, ask the owner for a tow back up. If there is a few of you eating he is more than happy to pull you back up to the middle of Ripaille drag with his skidoo, then its a quick hop back over Chavanette back into France!!! The tow is always interesting after a glass!
