Poster: A snowHead

Hi,
I think it's a simple and well know question to you all. But, keep in mind I'm not so familiar with ski and ski equipment. Since I have skied just 8, maybe 10 times for short 4 to 7 days each. Every time using rented skis/boots! And i think you'll begin to evaluate the proper set wen you begin to consider to buy it.
Ok, I'm not willing to purchase skies right now!!! But since I'm heading to Les arcs next Jan and will rent skies again and feels a bit more confident... I start to looking around to "what should be the appropriate skies for my skill level.
I'll try to explain:
Last Feb. in Europe I've rented a pair of Fisher CoolHeat and really don't feel confident with it, some lack of control, even in very good conditions at Stubai, with lots of powder.
After that, Sept, at Bariloche, Argentina, with very similar conditions, I've rented a pair of Elan (cant remember the model) . But, the feeling was the total control, fast but less effortless.
As I've said, I would ask you experts: what you think is the best bet for me!!
I'm 1,70m tall, 72 kg and about level 5 or 6 !!!
Thanks in advance for your thoughts !!!!!!
Cheers~
Eduardo

I think groomed pistes most of the time, blues and red some black and a little off piste . Looking for control, some speed and ease turns!
Thanks!

So pretty much you want an 'all mountain' ski. There are loads of em, and most companies have their own interpretations - check out some websites! A list to sart you off:
-Dynastar Sultan 85 and Sultan 80 (or last season's Legend 8000s are awesome too!)
-Salomon Tornado
-Head Monster 78 or 82
-K2 recon or Explorer
-Scott Mission (or punisher if you fancy a twin)
