Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Manchester to Vancouver flights

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I'm looking to book four flights to Vancouver from the start of March. The flights I can find seem to be very expensive compared to the last few years.

Does anyone know of anywhere where they can be found at cheaper prices?

Cheers

You checked out Canadian Affair? They were also doing good package deals (cheaper than Inghams/Crystal) for Banff when we booked so might be worth looking in to that.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Jumping Jack Flash, think Canadian Affair/Thomas Cook and Air Transat are all somehow connected.

Just tried Canadian Affair and they are saying that the are no flights available next year. Maybe they are available nearer the time.

we have given up on flying to Vancouver in winter and fly to Calgary from Manchester then an internal flight in Canada. We have flown to Gatwick and then to Vancouver a couple of times, but we have had so many delays we gave up.
We normaly ski in Silver Star and Sun Peaks so we fly into Calgary and then on to either kelowna/kamloops, when we flew to Vancouver we used to drive up to the resorts.

Another option is to fly into Seattle and drive up. There are *far* more airlines flying into Seattle than Vancouver, which means much more competition and hence lower price tickets. I think last year we saved about £150 *each* doing this - and car hire is much cheaper too. Okay, it's an extra 100/200 miles driving, but the saving makes it worthwhile for us.
