Snow Reports

Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hello, can I have your esteemed opions please.
Choices are:
Fischer Watea 78, Head Monster IM 76, or one of the new Head Peak range.
Good intermediate, cranking out the carves and looking to move into a little off piste (nothing too hard).
Thanks for any thoughts.
On a related point my girlfriend is having kittens choosing between the Fischer Koa 78 and the
K2
Burnin Luv...

, welcome to
I've asked a similar question. See the links below. To be honest unless you've tried them before or are getting a real bargain, it's worth either having a demo on them on an indoor slope or better still, buying them in resort. I've been looking again at buying in the UK rather than resort due to the exchange rate.

, re your girlfriend... IMV, the Koas are pointless planks & the Burnin' Luvs are lovely responsive skis
However, many on here will disgree. It really is down to personal opinion...
Are you anywhere near a Snowdome? If so, get yourselves down to
Ellis Brigham
& test a few pairs out...

Skis are very much down to personal opinion. I tested the Koa 78s at Tamworth and absolutely loved them. Stable and responsive with great turning ability. I tested
K2
True Luv (not sure how different they are to Burning Luv) at Hemel Hempstead and wasn't impressed at all. They felt heavy and sluggish.
Testing is definitely the best way.
