Hey
My local Nevisport charges £17 for a wax. I just wondered if you think it's worth it or should I just buy some wax and do it myself?
What equipment/skills do i need to do my own wax?

If they do a base grind and sharpen your edges included in that price then it's not bad.
It's worth having a go at waxing and edging your board yourself though just to get an appreciation of what's involved.
Checkout YouTube as there are loads of instructive, informative clips on there.
They'll tell you what equipment you'll need. Some also show you how to fix holes and gouges in the base using p-tex candles. This is very useful if you plan to hammer your board and can't afford to replace it every season.

sherlock235, lol, I didnt recognise him without shimmy by his side. Exactly 10 minutes after that I had an ear bashing for being a touch too stoned to drive and mounting the pavement, sweet
