Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

moto x are slightly less likely to be double lens but a lot of them still are. They may also have tear off posts on the lens but that's not a big deal. Someone on here has said before that the plastic is thicker and can become brittle in cold conditions. Not sure if its true but you don't really want a lens shattering in your face, however unlikely it might be
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I thought it was the single lens double lens thing.. I have some MX Crowbars in the post so ill compare them to my Snow Crowbars and let you know..

Hi
bradleyjoes
,
I use me Oakley M frame MX goggles for skiing without any problems. I purchased a persimon lens and just swapped it with the clear one.
I also ripped out all of the foam to aid demisting as I wear them over glasses. Never had a problem with snow getting in even in near whiteout conditions.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

The foam isn't specific to either moto x or snow goggles though as far as i'm aware. Just some crap products don't have it.

I was under the impression that the lens material in ski goggles is designed to not spliner on impact. Other non-ski goggles become brittle at low temp.
I wouldn't want a bit in my eye.
Cheers
Bob
