Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Wrong gender dakine heli pro?

I was thinking of getting a dakine heli pro but you seem to abe to get the womens version for approx £20 less. Is there really any difference? what does it mean 'specially contoured to fit your feminie frame'? I've got quite a slim build but wouldn't describe it as feminine. I just don't want to pay £20 extra for an identical product in more boring colours.

I have one. It's slightly shorter in the back, so the hip strap lines up with hips better IME.

The shoulder straps may also be slightly different to take in to account curves (I know that's the case with Camelbak women's specific)

rambotion, I use a womens specific northface hydration pack (and i am a bloke) (its was cheap and they did have any other small packs). The main problem is the chest strap is a bit short and much too high up, the shoulder straps are also closer together but as i wear it under my jacket i wanted it a close fit and so it fits really well, with the chest strap as wide as it will adjust and as low as it will go, however it will not go over the jacket.
