Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Advanced snowboarding lesson - courchevel

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi all,

That time of year is fast approaching!

We are heading to Courchevel for the first time this season (February).

Each trip, usually a couple of times a year, I like to have a day's private tuition to keep me improving. I'm at an advanced level, having ski'd since I was very young, and moved to snowboarding about 5 years ago.

Can anyone give any recommendations? (on/off piste stuff, not park riding)

Thanks

James

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

A couple of years ago my teenage son and daughter who are both advanced boarders had lessons privately with RTM in Courchevel and both really enjoyed their time hanging out with the Instructor and learnt a lot. I think a google search should find them.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Contact New Genaration. Michael Bates (Ex British Team rider) is based in the area. Maybe in Meribel I think but he may be able to come accross to meet you or they may have someone else with a similar level there.
New gen are a good British school and are of course fluent English speakers!

Norbert666, My son had a couple of days with RTM when he did his winter season two years ago.

Highly recommended.
