Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hemel Snow Dome on weekend mornings - how busy is it?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
As the title says, just wondering how busy Hemel is first thing (9am) on a Sat or Sun morning?

Tried going last weekend at 5pm on Sunday evening and it was horrendous ... so are mornings any better?

Weekend mornings are rammed, lots of kids lessons going on. Last weekend it was at capacity till early evening. Weekdays are much quieter.

I was there on Monday from 13:00 to 17:00. It was pretty quiet the whole time, but the best time was 16.00 to 16.30 I think. At that point, you could guarantee a completely clear slope for every run, only had to wait a few seconds for it to clear each time! Was great fun!

That would have been when we all left the slope then! Its been pretty busy every morning this week and I guess weekends would be much busier.

9 onwards on a Saturday can be a bit of a gong show now as soon as the kids lessons come out as they immediately reduce lift capacity. Not the kids' fault - the lifts are just tricky for little ones unless the lifty is placing the poma in for them. Add in some courses and its a lottery.
