Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Weekend trip within range of Munich

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi Snowheads,

I've got one days holiday left until Christmas and I would like to do a weekend ski trip, it would require a Thursday or Friday evening/night flight from either Liverpool airport (25 mins away) or Manchester airport (30 mins away) to Geneva, then fly back Sunday night or Monday night but they just don't exist.

Even if I finish work really early there just isn't any flights, I've spend over a month looking for them, even from other airports further away.
I think only the airports in the South East do Thursday/Fri evening flights to Geneva Mad.

So trying every airport within range of a ski resort, the only place I can get to is Munich leaving work early.

Is there a company like Mountainsun who pick you up from the Munich airport and just do weekends?

The only alternative I can think of is lose a day of skiing by flying the next day, all flights get there too early for the pick up so would have to hire a car to get to mountainsun myself, or spend the day in the airport.

Thanks for your replies, what I was really asking was does anybody know of a a company that do it all, aka pick you up at the airport, take you to there chalet, then on the last day take you back to the airport.

St Anton...relatively easy reach by train from Munich via innsbruck...or i could sort something with you pick up etc i have a lovely appartment in st anton with a spare sofa bed - if you happy to pay share of rental/food for time youre here and transport costs i could arrange stuff for you...

if you want your own place - thats equally possible...
