Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Flaine 2nd - 9th Jan. UCPA

Poster: A snowHead
For the last 2 seasons I've been hooked on going off piste. Unfortunately none of my mates have caught the bug so for the last 2 years I've gone on my own to UCPA, in Chamonix and Serre Chevalier. Both fantastic skiing and great people but last year I was in a group of 7 french guys and the guide obviously spoke mainly French. Not a real problem but it'd be better to have a few like-minded brits to have a laugh with.

The accommodation in Chamonix was a bit basic, Serre Chevalier was a bit better but I've heard that the accommodation at Flaine is the best of the lot (ex Club Med hotel) and the snow record is brilliant. I think it's mainly rooms for 4 people with en suite.

If we go through Action-Outdoors the cost is £590 including lift pass, equipment (got brand new Bandits last year), full board and all tuition/guide.

You don't have to do the off-piste course, they run a variety of on piste levels and also boarding.

Flights to Geneva are not extortionate and a transfer to Flaine is no trouble.

This was origionally posted for the 26th Dec to 2 Jan but I've managed to get the 1st week of jan off work so happy days.
