Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Is there a 3rd Magic Carpet in Val Thorens?

I know they have replaced the Val Thorens Retour double pomma with a double track Magic carpet and the main beginers MC has been moved and extended with a covered MC. Is there now a further 3rd MC at the bottom of the beginers piste outside the tall appartments? There does appear to be a white tunnel at the bottom right when viewed from the VT web cam. I havent heard it mentioned nor can I see these on any of the online piste maps.

Moving the old MC has certainly widened that area out in front of the hotels and apartments. The replaced pomma will make the trip down from the higher part of town to the ski school much easier for anyone learning. It used to be a long walk or a nerve jangling slide down the Retour piste.

Snow on the ground and the snow cannons were running this morning. Very Happy

Apparently there is a third MC. The main area will now have 2, Musaraigne and Campagnols.

There is even a new lift pass on offer for beginers which covers nine lifts in and around the new beginner area and is 50% cheaper than the standard lift pass at 18,75€ per day and 15€ for a half day. Cool
