Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi all,

Every year i organise a trip for my friends which leads to the inevitable tidal wave of "yes i'm interested" and then followed up with much procrastination. Anyway - I worked out the following on a party of 12. We have 11 at the moment. I want to get 12 but the chalet will take up to 15 (we already have it to ourselves regardless).

Ideally I'm looking for a single skiier/boarder or two friends, but probably not a couple - no offence but it will make you a bit less likely to socialise with the group and that is quite important to us!

The group is aged 25 - 27 with a slight male bias at the moment. Obviously we'd need to know more about you and you'd want to know more about us so would recommend people let me know if they're interested and we can get chatting.

The range of abilities goes from 1 week on snow and the coordination of a drunk baby, to an ex seasonnaire who is game for anything. Majority are intermediates though so there is something for everyone!

The detaals are below but i'd be happy to expand if anyone has any questions!

Thanks,
Alex

13th-20th March 2010
Belle Plagne @ 2050m elevation - guaranteed snow
Paradiski area = 425km+ of piste and some great off piste (one of best in Europe off back of Les Arcs down to Villaroger. Which is actually the route from top gear where Hammond in the audi races the two skiers with parachutes)
Ski in / ski out chalet on the piste - no walking
Jacuzzi bath in every room
Catering included -2 courses (main, dessert) with wine included - chalet all to ourselves.
Travel down in the car (was great last year - less faff than the plane) including free ski carriage!

£425 each (might be less depending on car options yet to be decided - but extra would go into a booze fund)

You would need to buy a lift pass - I recommend a la plagne one which can be extended for a day to the whole paradiski area - hopefully the euro will be better by the time we go.

snowgirl123, yeah - it's a great price for ski-in ski out! Not being able to drive is certainly not a problem - we are sorted on the cars and drivers front - roof rack ok for you? Lift passes are all expensive nowadays but it is less than the three valleys at least - probably about £150-160 I think. Although wherever you go it will be about this give or take £25.

We all live around the Twickenham, Egham, Ascot area so if you're in London you can easily get across town.

How much skiing have you done? La plagne is a great area - it will be my 4th time there and it offers something for everyone!

Cheers

Hi Alex,

I've done 9 weeks in total (I think) - happy on most pistes (apart from the odd scary and crazy black mogul or ice run!). I'm down in Brixton, so it would indeed be fairly easy to get over there.

What's the chalet called, would be good to take a look if poss.
Have you got anyone else interested at the moment?

Cheers
Kate
