Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi there, does anyone know of a coach operator that does coach journeys from London to Tignes on
Saturday evenings, arriving Sunday morning
and returning back to the UK on Sunday evenings and arriving back in the UK Monday morning? We're going skiing at the end of Jan 10.
I have tried snowcoach, ski bus and eurolines - but they all seem to set off on Friday nights... we don't have accommodation until Sunday night.
Unfortunately Ski Olympic have cancelled their usual bus service, and cannot find an alternative. Even the
direct
trains are friday to friday.
Could go via plane, but this is a last resort; but i think we'd sooner take a non-direct train.
thanks for any advice!
Kris

Given that most accommodation in the Tarentaise is Saturday changeover then all the 'common' transfer services are orientated around that. I doubt you'll find any 'scheduled coaches' leaving sunday from Bourg St. Maurice (down the hill from tignes) returning to london, they'll all look to leave Saturday night.
So either
(a) book an extra night in Tignes on the Saturday - can't be that hard at the end of Jan and then travel on one of the standard buses such as the one suggested by the Alpaka - so you loose the last 'sunday' but you get an extra saturday instead
or
(b) As A but get the Saturday AM direct Eurorstar to Bourg, or even the Friday night one.
or
(c)Fly - and get on the transfer bus with Ski Olympic (I presume they're organising one)
or
(d) Drive yourself.
