Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Instructors - Les Gets

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I've looked through the recommended Instructors thread and so far the options look like :-

BASS
IDFreeride
Skisurf360

Any others I should look at, or comments to help choose between them would be appreciated.

Looking for on / off-piste and maybe some avalanche awareness training.

Thanks.

We have used BASS three times in Les Gets for our two childrens lessons and have been very satified with the lessons and results. We also payed for a 2hr private lesson last year for them to try boarding, but thought that at £115 this was a bit expensive. I have also read elswhere on this site a very good review on a instructor at Skisurf360 and was intending to try and book a private lesson with him when I return to Les Gets in March. ( see recommended instructors at top of this section)

kevinrhead, I was also thinking about Skisurf360 unfortunately their web site was more fun than functional. The Safari or freeride courses look a possibility, I think it'll come down to talking with them once in resort.
Any tips on Les Gets as a resort ?

Joe Beer is a very experienced instructor working in Les Gets, I worked with him for many years and I think you´d be delighted with his services. www.alpinelearningcurves.co.uk.
