Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Austria (March, 13 2010)

Poster: A snowHead
I have been tasked with finding a week's skiing for March. Have been skiing once to La Tania so I know that they get good snow in March, but wondered about Austria - any suggestions.... My second time skiing so will still need the comfort blanket of easy runs, so not too many nasty runs please! Also, a bit of night life would be good - not on the Club 18-30 level, but a bar for a beer in the evening would be appreciated.

Thx

Maybe consider Zell am See, not a massive ski area but plenty of decent intermediate runs, nice town with plenty to do outside skiing and not too far from Kaprun if not too much snow around. Mayrhofen too a personal favourite but can be overrun by noisy dutch at that time of the season.

Hiya lmv, welcome to snowHead !

Perrrrlease don't panic about conditions in March. Anywhere within Salzburgerland or the Tirol plus many, many more will be perfect!
So think of destinations that are flying into Innsbruck and Salzburg.

Check out areas like www.skiamade.com or www.skicircus.at there are quite a few more too - have a delve into the trip reports and info on the site - you'll find exactly what you are after!
