Frosty the Snowman, I'm not sure -- I've never taken a guide before, but I just got AT bindings, and I hear there's lots of good off piste in the 3v...

awf, you are right that there's masses of off piste in 3v's and the best is in Val Thorens (from Cime de Caron) and Les Menuires (from La Masse). Contact David Mitchell. English guy (the only one) working for the ESF in Val Thorens.
