Hi,
I'm looking to book either a 4* or 5* hotel in St.Anton in March 2010. Does anybody have any suggestions on hotels to look at, and also hotels to avoid...

The woman who owned Hotel Kertess 4 yrs ago was very un-Austrian - very grumpy and all the staff were frightened of her.

If you want to stay in St Christof - just round the corner from St Anton - The Alberg Hospitz - a truly luxurious hotel -Inhams used to have it in their luxury brochure - I don't know if they still do

bottleofbolly, we had christmas day lunch there last year, a mouth watering and wallet busting wine list...

barthez1980, Hotel Post is a firm fave of some of the lads when we go - I tend to go b&b. They have stayed at Sport Hotel before, which I felt was a bit dated albeit in a great location. I've stayed at the Arlberg twice and enjoyed it very much. sidneyreilly, knows what he's talking about though as he is resident there. Some of the lads also stayed at Pepis Skihotel which was built end 2007 and was ultra modern, big rooms etc and hard to beat location. Think they only do b&b though

what are the conditions generally like at the end of march in st.anton?? found a reet good deal, and just need some sort of reassurance on the conditions in previous seasons....

We;ve just stayed at the Arlberg, lovely hotels and as Samerberg Sue, says, the food was mind blowing - I'm still on a diet !
