Bought a pair of Oakley Wisdom goggles earlier this week on the net. They were considerably cheaper than the ones I bought a couple of years ago. Then today the Ellis Brigham catolouge comes through the letter box and I see they are not selling them any more. Have Oakley stopped making the Wisdom's !!
If so grab a pair on the net whilst they are still available. IMHO best goggles money can buy and I've tried a few.

I like em too although the frame could be a bit bigger. HI yellow lens is the business in a white out. If there is any thing to be seen you'll see it in these.

Hurtle, noooo - you have to try them on first! I've found Oakley Wisdoms too big for me. The Adidas Yodai is a smaller frame but you know what snowheads say - don't buy before you try!

cathy, I suppose there's always the option to return them. Thing is, that website has got some terrific bargains on it... Does any of the Oakley range fit you?
Edit: come to think of it, I could always pop into the Oakley shop in Cov Gdn over the w/e (does it still exist?) and then order online.

Hurtle, Still exists. Still got really lazy staff and still overpriced....... still good for a try before you buy (elsewhere)

I don't understand the obsession with Oakley goggles, in my opinion they're not a patch on Smith's.

frank4short, very happy to be pointed in the direction of cut-price Smiths - that I can try on before buying.

Hurtle, I'm afraid that i can't help you with. Though i am very happy with my 2 pairs. I think mine use the ignitor mirror lens tint, i think, though i couldn't say for sure. All i know is I've a sweaty head, i wear a helmet so ergo doubly sweaty, my smiths never fog up, the lens tint is both brilliant in flat light & bright light.

Time I did a search on flat light goggles, methinks. (Not interested in goggles for bright light - I wear sunnies whenever poss.)

Hurtle, IME some of the pink lenses are good in flat light. Bolle Vermillion for example. They will be ok when the sun comes out too. The mirrored finished Vermillion Gun is only good in bright light when you use sunnies.
HI yellow oakley really comes into its own in absolute whiteout if the sun comes out at all it offers little or no protection so I always have sunnies or other goggle handy.
I have heard some of the Smith lenses are awesome in flat light but have no experience of them so .
