Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Go on then, I throw myself at your mercy once again....

The time has some to put my trusty old Apache Recon's out to pasture, and so have some decisions to make....

The current shortlist is :-

Apache Explorers, Apache Crossfires, Volkl AC50's or Line Prophet 90s....

Mostly on-piste, with the occasional foray away to the fun stuff, conditions allowing. Without blowing my own trumpet, nor giving an over-inflated assesment of my abilities, I can ski anywhere, sometimes even with a degree of style and grace. Been at this game for over 20 years, and know when to call it quits and hit the bar.....

Don't bother recommending anything which is not from the above manufacturers, as I don't have the same contacts in any other company wink

Go ahead, fill your boots

I'd say the Explorer is a step-on from your Recon's...

Wider ski and shouldn't give anything away piste-wise.

You don't seem to be after anything different just a better, newer ski than you had..

The Fujas and the Extreme look ok as well..
