Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Annual worldwide insurance for 70 year old including heliskiing

 Poster: A snowHead

The prices I have been offered today by various companies who don't immediately say you are too old to even be considered by them, are massive. Does anyone know of a company that will look favourably on someone who has skied all their life, worked in the alps and, touch woo, never had to make a claim? Any advice enormously appreciated.

Try BMC british mountaineering council. Their insurance appears to be the most reasonable for the quality of cover offered. You are no matter who you book with going to pay through the nose even if you aren't the age you are for worldwide annual insurance that will cover heli skiing.

skilegs,

Have sent you a pm with my details - can't be definitive, but have spoken to a company who have said they will cover heliskiers on single trip policies to Europe to age 79 for a touch over £30 for a week. Would need full details and disclaimers to be read to before I can say more, give me a call if you are able to restrict the heli bit to Europe

Have not been able to find worldwide, but will keep looking

skilegs,

Bit of a longshot, but if your car policy is with swiftcover they 'appear' to cover heliskiing up to the age of 74 as long as you are a member (to be a member you need to have your car insurance policy through them). If it is may be worth pursuing - I couldn't get to the fine print as my car is not insured with them!
