Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Wanted: Ski Instructor for private lessons in 4-Vallees

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Is it possible to engage a non-ski school affiliated ski instructor for private lessons in the 4-Vallees region of Switzerland?

I'm looking for a suitably qualified instructor to provide afternoon lessons for 2 or 3 afternoons for my wife over the New Year week (commencing 27/12). The lessons would start/end in Siviez.

My wife is a competent lower intermediate skier who needs more work on her confidence then her technique... This should not be too tough a gig for a competent instructor and of course it would be cash in hand...

I appreciate that there are 3 or 4 ski schools offering lessons from Siviez, however they are looking for CHF135 for a 2 hour private lesson and obviously I'm looking to pay less then that!

I am happy to undertake my own diligence on any applicant and accept the usual caveat emptor risks (- although frankly taking a private lesson with an instructor from the main schools is Nendaz is also a bit of a lottery anyway...).

Is there anyone out there who may fit the bill and be interested? If so PM me please.

To be honest 135 CHF for a 2 hour private lesson doesn't seem expensive compared to prices I've seen elsewhere - and Switzerland is rarely cheap for anything.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?
