Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

We stayed here. It is quite a way out of Soldeu, certainly beyond walking distance. There was a ski bus to take you to the lifts and they did make an effort to entertain at night. (bar plus disco but not visited) Food was all you could eat from a buffet, great for young folk with good appetites but not cordon bleu! Rooms were spacious with all you need, but basic. If it is the sort of holiday that you are looking for, it is great value. Probably best for groups of friends. For us, we would have prefered to have been nearer Soldeu. We had a few meals in the Bruxelles which were excellent, and would stay here in the future.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

It's in Bordes de Envalira, which is about 1.5 - 2km out of Soldeu - not much there, but probably quite a bit cheaper to stay, so just depends what your're after.

Depends what you want. My brother used to live in Bordes d'Envalira, and it did feel like the middle of nowhere and is rather atmosphere-free. You would have to catch the bus to get to the lifts and to enjoy any of the apres-ski Andorra is known for. The Bruxelles is cheap AND in town, and does a tasty sandwich, which you can eat while watching snowboarders fall down the Avet run. There's always someone falling down it. Soldeu is a much better bet for self catering than many Alpine resorts as the restaurants are cheaper than most I have been to in France and Austria. There is always cheap but decent self catering at Bella Vista if you are on a budget.
