Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

WARREN SMITH SAAS FEE COURSE

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I am thinking of booking on one of Warrens courses this summer. Would like to hear from anyone who has done one of the courses and their thoughts on content, value for money and level of improvement etc

Also, would like to hear from anyone who has skiied on the Saas Fee glacier in summer and what they thought of it

Particularly interested in likely snow conditions to expect, what ski gear to wear (hot or cold weather) and any other thoughts / observations

valleyboy, do a search for Warren Smith under my username & you'll find plenty of info. Have you checked the availablity as I'd have thought he'd be booked up now.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

valleyboy - as spyderjon says, there'll be lots of stuff on here about Warren's courses.

My top tip is lots of high factor sun cream and lip balm - it your lips burn (like mine did) then you'll regret it!

The course I did was excellent.

valleyboy, If you are a reasonable level skier (when I did the course I was not really of a high enough standard to benefit fully from it) I think you will find the course good value, especially if you are taking advantage of the accommodation package, and will have a good time. You will need to use sun protection and as you have an early start the snow conditions should be reasonable. As far as I can see from their website, they still have some availability. The instructors and people on the course are very friendly and having the afternoons/evenings free makes it into a holiday as well.
