Well, I'd catch the ski in mid-air and snap the boot into the binding before executing a perfect landing ... or not.

Skier should be on skis with Union Jack bases, and decent bindings, then premature ejection doesn't occur.

Certainly if I was in mid-air in this situation I'd want to look at the DIN setting of the remaining ski before landing. It might need adjusting.

Not dissimilar to what Bode Miller did this morning in the combined downhill. Skied the whole thing on one ski. The guy is a hero!
