Aside from entertaining all of us blokes, what do you think was the purpose of the exercise Ms Mancuso was undertaking? Breath control and controlling the desire the panic?

She's a very talented and interesting lady. The whole free diving thing interests me (other than for the obvious reasons!). If it floats your boat too, you should see the Luc Besson film The Big Blue. An incredible film
