Poster: A snowHead

Chuffing cold out here in Austria at the moment....
I woke up this mornign to make some 'summer' guests their brekkie... put on the tv with cams on and was struck by the sight of the local areas....
Anything above about 1650m has been dumped on!!
If anyone is thinking of playing on the glaciers around Salzburg then now is a very, very good time!!

flangesax, I saw the cams in Gastein were the same. However looks like snow/rain in the mountains has brought misery to those in the Austrian lowlands - there's been some pretty bad flooding in Steyr.

yeah, lots of problems... but being a Brit I am quite used to rainy weather and flooding... infact it is getting a tad boring now! Hopefully all will turn summery soon!

Kersh, you'd enjoy a story I was told by a hydrologist chap working on the way the water table in the South Downs operates. He and his team were glued to their computer models, only to be interrupted by an old lady up to her ankles in water, outside their office in Chichester, shouting "Do you boys know there's a big flood out here?"
