Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Prices last Easter for weekday EJ Luton to Zurich

I am trying to decide whether to wait 6 months until easyjet releases its Easter 2010 flights or grab something less convenient now. I am thinking of Luton to Zurich Monday 5th April 2010, return 12th April.

Unless there are any clairvoyants out there, the best guide is the season just finished. I assume the highest prices were the first Easter weekend, the weekend of 4th April, returning the following weekend, but does anyone have any recollection of prices for Luton to Zurich travelling a couple of days later, on, say, Monday 6th or Tuesday 7th April? I am assuming the weekdays would have been a lot cheaper than the preceding weekend?

I can grab BA to Zurich now at good prices, but Luton is only 10 minutes away from me, so is much better.

This year we booked EJ Newcastle/Geneva flights for Sat 4th April, returning Easter Monday (13th) and got (for the time of year) a great deal - despite booking only a month before travel. The cost was £120pp excluding luggage.

With that in mind, I reckon you could well get a good deal if you hang on.... Good luck!!

Anyway, the bad news was that something cropped up at work and I was asked to cancel my week off. Sad However, work paid for the EJ flights and we ended up booking with Jet2 instead to squeeze in a Good Friday to Easter Monday trip.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

This year we went Sunday 5th - Sunday 12th, last minute trip with flights booked 5 days before.. Gatwick - Chambery was only £80. Presumably that was because of unsold seats still remaining though, rather than being a guideline price for that kind of time?
