So does that mean I've been asking the wrong question all of these years and should in fact be asking fellow snowsports enthusiasts, "Are you a skier or a "rider"?"
Come to think of it, I've got a few mates who are regular boarders but I am scratching my head to think of the last time any of them described a day on the slopes by including the words "ride," "rode" or "ridden..."
Are those words in common usage in the sport?

It would certainly be much clearer if the headline said that "riding" could transform lives. Horses, mountain bikes, motor bikes, take your pick.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
