Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Heel Piece for Head boots?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Just checking over my kit and I noticed that the replaceable heel piece on my boots and also my wifes have worn through to the hard plastic, so I guess it should be replaced!

Any idea where I could get the heel pieces?

The boots say FR 10.5 on the side and M 103 R LAST on the back, and apart from that I can't see any other model name on them!

Her boots say S10 on the side and both heel pieces look a very similiar size...

Cheers,

greg

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I changed my heel plates recently on my S8s. I emailed head and they jsut gave me the part number i needed and told me to get them from my nearest head dealer which happened to be edge 2 edge where i bought the boots from in the first place. They charged me £15 which is quite a lot really for two little bits of plastic and a few screws but i needed them quick so didn't really have a choice. I did speak to someone out in france this season who said that skibartlett above did actually do them for about £6 which is probably the best you'll find them for if that's true.

...or find a similar model, any size, on eBay.

If you are lucky (or patient) you may well find a pair nearby so you can save on the postage too.

This is how I've built up a collection of spares for our Flexons.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I got replacement heel pieces for my S13s from the Chertsey Snow and Rock. I think they normally keep a couple of pairs in stock, but I got the last pair as there were two of us in the same positions at our club Wink . Try EB at Castleford?
