Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

When I bought my ski boots nearly 2 years ago from
Ellis Brigham
, I had a bit of a time with the left foot (numbness and pain). I took the boots back several times and they “blew” out the shell on the left boot. I also had custom made footbeds inserted. The right boot has never given me any problems.
The boots have been very comfortable with just the odd numbness and tingling.
However, the left boot now seems to rub against the inside of my foot just below the ankle bone (culminating in a small sore) and I have some heel lift. No matter how much I tighten the clips, the heel lift is still there. The mistake I made when buying the boots was that I wore thicker socks rather than thinner socks. The heel lift is still there regardless of what socks I wear.
I don’t know if I should now flog them on e-bay and invest in a new pair, although I don’t know if I really want to go through all that palaver again of sore feet, etc
The boots are
Nordica
Speedmachine 8.

Probably best to go and consult a specialist bootfitter like CEM or SZK. If the shells are still in good condition and not way too big, then replacement liners might be a good compromise.
