Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anybody on the Jet2Com Chambery flight bussed to Lyon on Saturday

Just wondering how anybody on the Jet2.com flight out of Chambery last Saturday got on after the flight was cancelled and everyone was bussed to Lyon.
We were waiting for the Flybe flight back to Birmingham (thankfully it went - late as always) and witnessed the chaos as the announcement was made and everyone had to reclaim their luggage and scramble for a bus.
Last thing you needed on such a gloriusly sunny day

Jet 2 seem to have a thing about busses eh ??
All the Leeds - Geneva passengers were bussed to Manchester the other morning (Manchester passengers held on the plane for hours) and eventually arrived 6 hours late. Pilot at one point was overheard saying "I will go and count the B$@@&y bags myself".

janner, DallyPaul, I had an experience last year when Leeds was closed with high winds and the plane was at East Midlands, we were bussed down there - don't think Ryanair or Easyjet would do the same? They also bussed a load of people from Nice earlier this year when I was away with Ski Esprit as the plane had got diverted - having said that it was a charter flight then. Very glad it wasn't me that occasion.

J2 have been doing this a lot recently. They have even flown the plane between Leeds and Manchester as not enough people using the flights. They have a nasty habbit of not telling anyone until they arrive at the airport about this this change in service.

It sounds like how Plymouth airport operate. Do the flights look full? At Plymouth if they haven't got enough bums on seats they insist there's some other issue and bus people places to save costs.

This may be due to their flights being empty. We came home on 1st March from Chambery to Newcastle. On the way out the previous Sunday the flight was bearly a third full. We checked in as normal at Chambery for the Newcastle flight, but when we boarded the flight was full of people going to Edinburgh as well. So we flew to NCL, we got off and then the plane carried on to Edinburgh. Our flight times were only delayed by 45 minutues in the end, but the Edinburgh people should have left 2 hours before the NCL flight. No explanation was given as to the change.
