Poster: A snowHead

has anyone out there got any feedback on the ski boots which place the foot in its "natural" position, ie splayed out a little, instead of big toe facing the front? (I think Fischer do the Soma-tec line and Nordica do on some of their Dobermann and Sportmachine models.) I'm wondering if this is beneficial for most people or just a few duck-footed types!

I have fischer soma tec boots. I like them. They're a tad too big but comfy and bother free after use (have had terrible experiences with other types before). I struggle like a halfwit to get them on, but once I'm positioned correctly in the boot it's fine.
(Amn't duck footed! Rather 'normal' in fact )

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

My wife has the Fischer somas, but she does have pronounced duck feet. I think the angle is something like 7 degrees, which is a lot more than most of the others. She loves them, but not sure how someone with 'normal' feet would find them?

gra, they work for the right people namely those who when they stand with their feet splayed out their knees track straight forward and when they bring their feet paralell their knees turn in violently...other than that.......
