Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Many may argue but the Arabs apparently think so:

From the Strathspey and Badenoch Herald today:

Quote:
A five-figure deal was expected to be completed this morning (Wednesday) which will see snow from CairnGorm Mountain flown thousands of miles to Dubai for the oil-rich emirate's latest multi-million pound tourism attraction.

Nearly 120 tonnes of the country's best snow will be transported in special chilled containers over the next few weeks to be used as the centre-piece in one of the most luxurious hotels ever to be built.

The seven-star Al-Fayd-Poolsir will boast the longest indoor ski slope in the world at 500 metres – complete with both a four-man chairlift and a Poma lift.

Shocked
Quote:
It is understood that the top-end resorts of Courchevel in France and Klosters in Switzerland were both approached by the sheikhs but they priced themselves out of the market.

Sheikh Mustaph Alaf, who was also travelling with the delegation to Scotland, said: "They claimed that their snow was more exclusive than your very fine Scottish snow but as we say in Dubai that was a load of camel balls."

So there ye go, French and Swiss snow is a "load of camel balls", as they say in Dubai! Little Angel
