Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

"the slow 3 man"

Could you be a little more precise perhaps? I can't think of any slow 3 place lifts in Linga anymore, although there are a couple of slow 2 place ones...

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

tp023, are you meaning the lift at the top of the Linga stand up gondola? Not sure if it's a three man or not. Sorry don't have the answer.

To add to the questions last year when I was there in the said place there's an old building that looked a little like a mountain hotel there that seemed to be being renovated. Has is and what is it?

tp023, I was there a couple of weeks ago and there are details at the gondola base station. Can't remember whether a fast quad or six pack. However starts below the top of the gondola [i think about the same level as the restaurant]. Though obviously speeding access from chatel into Lindarets/Avoriaz it will enable repeated laps of a great piste. Only concern that it will probably wreck it for blasting down as it will probably become mogulled! At the moment the concrete building just below the gondola top station is for eating your own food-useful in these credit crunch times. However better to use the aforementioned hut which has great food and atmosphere.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

retsil, it's a lovely gradient for bumps, what are you complaining about?

tp023, oh yes, that three man. Some info (limited) here http://www.lift-world.info/fr/lifts/projects/page1.htm?PHPSESSID=e0aa707e5f739d0ff3c9edc2524568cc

Interestingly they're listing a new 6 man for Chamossière in Morzine and a new 6 man called Crète in Avoriaz.

Anyone got any idea on the latter?
