Just seen, "Portes du Soleil, Deep Powder Nature Reserve". Apart from the CRAP translation, (as if PDS, Reserve Naturelle de Poudreuse" is any better),

As is, "Alagna, Freeride Paradise".
Any more egregiously ridiculous marketing shenanigans going on out there?

sproggski, wasn't stupendously brilliant on the tuesday/wednesday of that week when I passed through, I think some decent snow arrived then - and Arno is spot on about that Gondola. We actually managed to break one of the cars too.

Yup, you beat me to it - I just checked on a map and the centre of "1850" is at 1750. The highest buildings in the highest suburb (Nogentil) are at 1850, though.
