Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any ski shops along M4?

Anyone know any ski shops just off the M4 that can fit a binding for £25?
Will be travelling along it so though could get my skis done at the same time...

Ski Bartlett is on the Uxbridge Road, not very far from J3 of the M4. You could give them a call to ask what the charge would be for fitting bindings (I'd guess £25 would be about right).

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Yep, good call. They do:
# BINDING CHECK - Adjusting bindings to boots, adjusting DIN release setting and overall binding check - £10
# BINDING MOUNT - Mounting new bindings to new skis, or re-mounting bindings on old skis - £25

I'm guessing they'll charge both Smile
Seeing as I haven't got my boots with me, what should I ask them to do with the binding or is it best left til after?

I don't think they will fit bindings without your boots.

rob@rar, they might. Telmark Pyranees supplied my skis complete with bindings once I had specified the boot length. I got spyderjon to check them out before use, though.

Bartletts insisted on having one of my boots when I asked them to move my bindings forward a few centimetres. If GordonFreeman knows his sole length they might mount the bindings, but I'd be surprised if they did.

Isn't there a place called Carters in Reading, too? My friend had boots fitted there, and was impressed with the care taken. By a lad with cerise hair.
