Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The three above are some of the closer but courchevel and the taranteise resorts are only 2-2.5 hours away. Ive skied ADH and SC but not les deux alpes. sure easiski will pop up to put in a good word for L2A as well. SC and ADH suit all levels of skiier. ADH is south facing and SC's lower slopes though north facing will i suspect get slushy as well but you are skiing mid april. I think there is so much snow around there will be plenty left for easter

I've skied Serre Che quite a lot in April. Early -mid april snow is usually pretty good with extensive decent skiing till early afternoon and rather more limited as the day goes on and the month progresses. Usually some decent stuff up at the top of most of the areas but predominantly Monetier later on in the aftenoon but more limited in extent.

This year we are going to Maurienne valley and skiing different resorts in the valley, very reasonably priced accomodation and lift passes available and easily reached from Grenoble.

provenjohn, Depends on what you want - all 3 are very different. transfer from Grenoble to ADH and LDA about 1.5 hours. Both big, both high .... This year the snow will be OK everywhere. Transfer to Serre Che a bit longer though. LDA has the highest skiing, and I think the most north facing slopes, ADH and SC have more cruising ... take your pick. All will probably be busy at Easter BTW. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

We close on 25th April this year
Transfers from Grenoble are good with the local buses (Trans Isere - very cheap) but you might also get a transfer with Bens Bus - either way it's cheap
You'll have no problem finding accommodation
Hope this helps - don't hesitate if you have any more questions Very Happy Very Happy
